Love at first sight ...

Here goes my blog on love for those who have been waiting for a long to hear something of love from me... Sorry.. it's bit late as was busy with lot of other stuffs... And, for those, who had asked the question "Do you believe in [title]?" to me directly/indirectly, here the whole story (my thought...) goes...

To start with, there are three words, that come to my mind, when I think over the [title]; Attraction, Crush and Love... First let me clarify, this is not only applicable only for 'him'/'her', it could also be 'it'; I mean, falling in love with her/him/it.

Love at first sight? Well, why not! First impression always counts. But, the word is wrong here.. It cannot be LOVE, it is merely Attraction/Crush... One can probably or never judge the chemistry involved in love. There are no chemical or mathematical equations proving love at first sight. One fine morning/evening, you see her/him/it, and some feeling come to you. How can we explain that tingle, that spark, that connection that you feel with a person upon first seeing her/him/it? Could it just be Lust. One thing for sure, it is not, nor can it be Love...

Love is something that is built on far more concrete stuff. Compatibility, understanding, trust, security, respect, etc. None of these are present upon a first meeting, and therefore, by definition, our feeling, however powerful, can not be love.

Love at first sight is believed in by people who either don't know, or don't want to admit that the pull of a purely physical attraction can be that intense. Love at first sight is a fallacy, a romantic notion. How can you love somebody at first sight.. Too silly!!!

But, here are some words in favour of LOVE... Love is not a commodity that you can buy after putting it to the test. It is not something that you can buy after consulting others. It is not sold in the market for money. When you see a man/woman and your pulsees race, your blood begins to sing and you yearn to spend the rest of your life only with him/her, sharing his joys and sorrows - that is love. It is irrepressible; it cannot be crushed whatever the pressures. Who he/she is, or what his/her family, or where he/she works is immaterial. You love somebody whole-heartedly. You even donot know whether she/he loves you or not.

But all this happens in time... not at first sight... but, surely starts from the attraction at the first sight... People know what kind 0f relationship they got to maintain with another within few minutes of meeting, that helps them determine how much effort they are willing to put into developing a relationship, It is almost a self fulfilling prophecy.

Well, there are lots of questions to be answered when you think in these lines... Is there such a thing as love at the first sight? Or it is just infatuation? How is it possible to feel so much for a stranger, a passerby? Love has no limits, no color, no time...I see but... How can you love the person you have just met? Is this love at first sight, or merely an attraction that later turns to love? Difficult to know... I respect whom has this firm belief, but still have some doubts about...passion can be, but love...real love...don't know...
