- Empowers the team, creates more leaders
- Takes them to places they have never been before
- Is open, flexible, honest and a hear-a-holic
- Is positive, optimistic
- Is courageous in decision-making, always works in the interest of the team
- Is secure, willing to surround himself with people better than himself
- Can accept responsibility and give credit
- Serves as team glue
